   Spansion  12/2006 – 2/2009  Sr. Technical Marketing Manager, Advanced Server Technology
Responsible for assessing new applications for EcoRAM Flash memory products in HPC and server storage markets including Genomics (BLAST), MYSQL, and HADOOP environments.
Sr. Technical Marketing Manager – Media Applications
Responsible for Technical and Product Marketing for media player products for the Asian market.
 
   SMSC 6/2003 – 6/2005 Director of Mobile Marketing
Responsible for Technical and Product Marketing for mobile products in Asia, including the requirements definition and technical sales of notebook PC SIO and embedded controllers into major OEM’s and ODM’s. Managed the deployment of these products in ODM design wins resulting in the product line moving from no sales in 2005 to 5 million units in 2006.

   Sonaptic (now part of Wolfson) 6/2005 – 9/2006 Director Business Development
Responsible for managing Sonaptic Audio technology deployment at Motorola worldwide. Mapped the customer organization and decision processes, made introductions to groups across the cell phone, government, networking, and accessories groups.  Won designs in new 4G trial handsets.             

 
*  Product Development Experience:
   SMSC 3/2002 – 6/2003 Sr. System Architect
Responsible for architectural evaluation and definition of new products. Led cross functional teams including marketing, analog designer, digital designers, and software developers to create new products. Applications included NAS, environmental controllers and human interface devices (HID). Participated in technical due diligence for corporate M&A and IP licensing activities.
 
   Media Excel 9/2001 – 1/2002  Vice President of Product Development
Responsible for definition and development of Video Compression products for the Windows PC and embedded markets. Built and managed team of 11 engineers. Took the team from unstable technology demos to multiple production quality products with complete demos in 3 months.

 
    Cirrus Logic  10/99 – 9/2001 Director System Software Development
Responsible for the definition and development for all system software on ARM based SOC products. Managed training of internal and distribution field technical and sales resources. Built and managed a group of 12 software and marketing engineers.

Responsible for identifying and developing software programs which communicate AMD's technological value to independent hardware and software vendors.
